Didier Gimonnet - An open heart & mind

I wish to share this remarkable document of one grower’s experience of the 2024 Champagne harvest. I think it is a lovely document, candid, emotional without being sticky, thoughtful and vivid. The longer I know Didier Gimonnet the more I admire him. He stands out among the many growers I’ve been privileged to know, as excellent a group of people as you will ever find, because he tells you what it was like, he brings you inside. Not many growers want you to know those things, except perhaps in conversations with close-in friends. Gimonnet has published this report, which anyone can read, and with his permission I am happy and proud to share it here.
